OKAY SO YESTERDAY @gay-trans-leo murdered me with his amazing Hokage Shisui fic (which is up to like ?? 12k I am so ready for this fic) and then his Hokage Shisui idea collided with my Hokage Kiba thing and it got really out of hand.
ANyway I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I wrote a thing!!!!
The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, was a kind man for his time. As kind as he could be for someone with as much blood on his hands as he had, but that doesn’t change the fact that the First Hokage had more blood on his hands than any other before him. It doesn’t change how willing he was to murder.
The Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, had no room for mercy and so he showed none. The Second Hokage bathed in the blood of his enemies, faced every demon the world could throw at him. Maybe he was too harsh, but the Second Hokage did what he believed what he had to do. Maybe it wasn’t right, maybe hindsight can prove he could have done better, but he always acted in a way that he thought would keep the village the safest.
The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was strong, powerful and was broken by time and blind loyalty. The Third Hokage let people live when they should have died, abandoned those who deserved love. The Third Hokage made many mistakes, and many saw him as kind. Despite his is so-called kindness, placed in all the places it wasn’t needed, he did what he thought Konoha needed. (The Third Hokage dies in his sleep, never forced to confront his own decisions, his own mistakes.)
The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, as fast as lightning and as cold as ice, even under the blazing sun of a summer day. The Fourth Hokage was ruthlessness and sticky drying blood in the midst of the third shinobi war. The Fourth Hokage was what he thought Konoha needed.
The fifth Hokage, Shisui Uchiha, was born in the ashes of a broken world, raised in a war and broken more times than he could heal. The world created a madman, and maybe that’s what Konoha needed. Maybe the village needed someone who wasn’t afraid to spill blood and raise hell and walk through the flames like it can’t burn him. Maybe Konoha needed someone who could stare death in the face and laugh. The Fifth Hokage may have been what the village needed, but he wasn’t a kind man.
The Sixth Hokage, Kiba Inuzuka, forges his career on the shoulders of people who love him, on the support of people who care about him. The Sixth Hokage breathes the pain of his people, stands at his inauguration and bows.
The Sixth Hokage is a kind man. But the Sixth Hokage is not weak.
Kiba Inuzuka loses no sleep as he locks Orochimaru away, never to be released, cursed to live in that cell and die in that cell. He sheds no tears for Madara Uchiha, Obito Uchiha and none for the Akatsuki.
Kiba is offered the hat in the middle of the Fourth Shinobi War surrounded by the bodies of his dead comrades and the death of Shisui on the forefront of everyone’s mind.
Maybe the job of a Hokage had lost it’s meaning over time, overcome by the irrational need to protect the village, that the people itself, the friends and family made along the way was lost, but the Sixth gave it new meaning.
Kiba pulled the Allied Shinobi Forces to their feet and dragged them across the finish line.
Kiba, barely a Jounin and Hokage for all of 10 minutes united a world that had been at war for decades better than anyone before him.
The Sixth Hokage cared, and maybe, just maybe, a little care is what the world needed.
hey i just got killed and so should you because echo is amazing and this is basically what I needed. holy shit. goodbye
scandalous
i will reblog this as many times as it takes me to stop finding this funny
Cripple Punk Gothic
- “You are too young to be disabled,” they say. You age. “You are too young to be disabled,” they say. You age. “You are too young to be disabled,” they say. You have changed. They have not.
- You see a flight of stairs. Your friend insists there are only a few. You don’t see an end. You are tired. There are too many stairs. You don’t see an end.
- The door has an accessible entrance sticker. It is not accessible. You tell them so. They insist it is. You try to explain. They point to the sticker wordlessly.
- You tell people there is no cute for your disability. They whisper. Soon everyone is whispering. You do not know what they are saying but you hear the word ‘yoga’.
- You need an ice pack. You get one. You immediately need another. This has been happening all day. Or was it all year? You try to remember and you cannot think of a time you did not need an ice pack.
- You stand up from your wheelchair. People gasp. Your disability has magically disappeared. You sit back down. Your disability returns.
- You never notice people using canes. You get a cane. Suddenly you notice them. They’re everywhere. The number of canes grows. You chalk it up to your imagination, but you wonder if it really is growing. Soon, everyone will use canes.
- You do not see yourself in magazines. You do not see yourself in movies. You do not see yourself on tv. You do not see yourself in books. You start to fear that you do not exist.
- A person asks you what your disability is. “I don’t know,” you whisper, “no one knows.” They stare at you confused. You have never known.
- You sleep. You are more tired. You don’t sleep. You are more tired. You go out. You are more tired. You stay in. You are more tired. The moon waxes. You are more tired. The moon wanes. You are more tired. You think about whether these things are related. You are more tired.

“this fic will have only ten chapters” and other lies writers tell themselves
“this is a one shot, I swear” the infamous sequel
and the third part: “i won’t start writing this, I have to finish other things first”
“I can finish writing this” the fanfic no one asked for.
“I swear, that’s really the final chapter count.”
“i’m going to get this done and post it by tomorrow”
“I’m totally not going to start writing a new fanfic before I’ve finished the last one,” says the person who is now writing four.
“I’m totally in the zone to write this one fic. I can finish it in two days.” Muse is gone by then
i just really love the idea of NaruHina becoming friends and adopting traits from each other’s personalities and Naruto’s ability to come up with improbable methods for completing missions and winning battles rubbing off on Hinata and suddenly on a “Stupid Ideas That’ll Get Us Killed” scale going from being “No Stupid Ideas At All” with Shino to leaning close to Kiba’s “No Filter, Just Train of Thought”, so she ranks somewhere around “Okay, The First Time You Hear It, It Sounds Crazy, But The Second Time Around You Start To See What I Mean”. Like she proposes something very quietly and Shino looks at her like “who…………………….. are you.” and Kiba goes “I’m so proud”
ok heres my naruhina long post
Okay so like. I have an anti-naruhina friend and after listening to her #Plight or whatever so many times, I have kinda started to see where she’s coming from in some places. I’ve always been a Hinata stan so I just wanted her to get whatever made her happy in the end, and that was Naruto, so I supported it. But now that I’m older like, in terms of character growth and compatibility and actual relationship progression, I wish that they had been written differently
I mean first off, I wish that they had become friends. Like real honest to God friends. I know that Hinata’s always had a crush on Naruto, but it’s kind of a letdown how Naruto seems to go from not caring about Hinata at all but supporting her without actually knowing her, into being in love with her – they should have gotten closer first!! Hinata already knows so much about Naruto but what does he really know about her before they start dating?? So I want them to be friends because, you know, people like to date and marry people that they actually… already… know! But! More importantly! I want them to be friends because that would have been so so so so awesome for Hinata’s character development!
Hinata has already made it clear since like s2 that though yeah, she has a crush on Naruto, he is also like, her driving force to improve herself and get better? Like… she almost looks up to him. She looks up to his strength and vivacity and perseverance. These are all things that she wants to see in herself. Her family sees no hope in her, she doesn’t seem to have any friends supporting her before Team 8 forms, and Hinata didn’t really even want to be a shinobi in the first place. Naruto is literally the only drive Hinata has to get better!!!!!! So if they become friends, and Naruto is constantly getting better, and Hinata wants to follow in his footsteps (as a ninja and as a person), then all of his successes!! Would drive Hinata to become stronger!!!! THEY! COULD! HAVE! BEEN! LIKE! RIVALS! I would have loved to see Hinata start to take on some of Naruto’s headstrong traits on missions (making an even bigger headache for Shino) and like, be shyly but constantly and unrelentingly competing with him! Comparing herself to him! Secretly constantly trying to one-up him! And though Naruto is dedicated, Hinata is definitely not far behind him in terms of being willing to put in the work to better herself! I love the idea of Hinata not even telling Naruto that he’s her rival but him just sort of noticing that every time he starts getting really good at doing something, sooner or later Hinata is on the same level as him, and it spooks him and makes him keep improving himself, only making Hinata do the same, until he eventually confronts her about it like “Hey are you fucking. Doing everything I do but almost as good as me?” And Hinata would be super awkward about it, sure, but if they were something like friends, she would absolutely tell him that she sees him as her competitor and it would SKYROCKET from there!! They would get closer and support each other! it would be SO CUTE!!
Had the two of them become friends and maybe rivals honestly I would have been fine with them never getting together. Hinata doesn’t have to love Naruto romantically. I would take a platonic but still stronger and more authentic relationship between them over a forced romantic one any day! I love the idea of Hinata realizing that idolizing someone and being in love with them are different things, and deciding from there how she feels about Naruto. I love it and that’s what I really really wish had happened!!!!!!! They would both be all the better for it!!!!!
#even if this just happened while Sauce was missing it could honestly mimic KakaGai’s relationship but be less WILD#Naruto gets Sauce Emo and Hinata is like ‘im sorry about your best friend anyway i just learned how to make shadow clones’#pulling him out of his funk INSTANTLY (idk why i said shadowclones idk any jutsu)#naruto hcs#anyway im WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH I JUST LOVE HINATA AND WISH KISHI CARED AT ALL ABOUT THE FEMALE CHARACTERS#texttalk
(I just love ur tags so Imma put them here bc,, yes all of this)
