Was thinking today. In Naruto, does chakra sharing work the same as bloodsharing in real life?

If so what would happen when two ninjas of opposing chakra natures have a child? If the mother has fire for example and goes to have a child with a water man, do their conflicting chakras put the child in danger? I ask because if chakra if a foreign body in the growing child, will the mothers body reject the fetus and thus kill the child?

Are there drugs created to counterbalance the effects?

How would you turn off someones chakra nature?

And because blood is shared during pregnancy, does the mothers chakra morph into a mixture of the two?

This isn’t my field of expertise, but I really wish that someone would tackle these questions, because it’s really interesting.

YOOOOO! =sliides in=

As a medical student, this is actually SUPER INTERESTING??! I totally want to know, too!

IRL, when a Rh(-) mother (let’s say O-) is pregnant with an Rh(+) child (let’s say O+), her body will create antibodies against the Rh+ antigens once their blood mixes during childbirth. If her next child is Rh+, the antibodies she’s already created will attack this second child’s red blood cells and destroy them, causing hemolytic anemia of the newborn. To prevent this, doctors give the mother a shot that prevents this antibody formation called the Rhogam vaccine during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

So would chakra nature in this scenario like the Rh antigens…? That’d be fascinating!!!

Though – what if chakra nature is more an endocrine phenomenon, like, if you’re fire type you by default produce a circulating “fire chakra” hormone, and thus it actively induces gene transcription and expression on cells all over your body to facilitate this. Babies that are born with more than one chakra nature could have messed up metabolisms or, if severe enough, it could be incompatible with life. Also, in this manner, you could theoretically induce a body to produce the secondary effects of a different chakra nature by infusing someone with that hormone, though it could eventually cause a hypersensitivity reaction or produce an autoimmune disease…

OROCHIMARU, GIVE ME YOUR SCIENCE, I NEED ANSWERS AAA

I love you so much right now!

Fun fact: cats don’t just wiggle their butts before they pounce out of excitement – they’re also making tiny adjustments to the position of their feet in order to more precisely aim the ensuing lunge.

Or, in other words: your cat is calibrating.
