A 22-month-old female scaredy cat tiger appeared to get the shock of her young life when she encountered a dead leaf floating on a pool of water in the Bandhavgarh National Park, India. Clearly unusure about just what was approaching her, the partially submerged youngster’s tail shot up in the air and with teeth bared she let out her most fearsome growl – all in an effort to scare the humble leaf away.

I CAN’T BREATHE

OMFG I AM DYING!

this is like the happiest thing I have encountered in a while

they should form a support group.

I lost it when I saw the tail, before I even read the comment oh my god

i really like stickers but at the same time i don’t because once you stick them somewhere that’s it, it’s finished, and i’m just not emotionally stable enough for that responsibility

I have been waiting for this post my whole life.

I was trying to explain this to someone one day and they basically told me I was crazy.

Hello! Autism cure rhetoric is eugenics! Have a great day!

Okay, I’ll explain: autism does not in-and-of-itself cause suffering. What causes autistic people suffering is lack of accommodations, of understanding, and of acceptance. Autism is a different way of thinking, acting, and being than the allistic norm. It is a disability only because society isn’t set up for autistic people.

“But what of the people with severe autism?”, you ask. While I object to the use of the word “severe”, same goes for them. These people deserve and achieve fulfilling lives and happiness when provided for correctly. They are not lesser in any way. They are still people, they have personhood, and are entitled to all the rights abled people enjoy.

Autism “cure” rhetoric is not a cure at all—what autism scientists research is the various genetic markers for autism so they can develop a pre-natal test for autism. If the fetus is autistic, it will most likely be aborted.

Ta-da! Simple eugenics. This pre-natal test already exists for Down Syndrome, and autism is next on the chopping block. Not to mention autistic people are killed and sterilized too, and that is a flagrant violation of human rights.

Just in case you forget this exists.

It exists.

With those “when you want to design a character but you don’t know color theory” posts flying around I thought this would be relevant again.

SLAMs THE REBLOG BUTTON

there’s also Coolors website that gives you randomized palettes!

image

Don’t forget ColourLovers, either! It’s a social media-esque site where you can browse tons of palettes and share your own.

You can browse the most popular ones or search for certain colors, themes, and even specific hex codes!

When you find one you like, you can download a wallpaper swatch of it and also select the specific colors it uses to look at more palettes that use those same ones.

ColourLovers is my go-to for when I’m having trouble coming up with a color scheme! It’s also been around for over a decade, so there’s plenty to browse through.

have you ever noticed how in the Lord of the Rings films…

Look it’s basic party ettiquite that if something unfortunate happens to a player character, you’re allowed to loot for the good gear, but you can’t sell it. Ever.
