so he’s supposed to be torturing a muggle for voldemort, but he’s kind of peckish so he stops by the kitchen and gets a snack on the way, and this distracts him so when he reaches the dungeon he’s forgotten about the torture part, and sits down to share his snack with the prisoner and make small talk.

eventually bellatrix comes down and is like wtf, why aren’t you villaining? and he’s like. well. i was hungry.
