Which is stronger, Travis’ thing for werewolves or Matt’s thing for dragons. 

Don’t forget to factor in Taliesin’s thing for vampires.

I mean I’m reasonably sure Matthew Mercer is not a dragon, and Travis is not a werewolf. 

Taliesin might actually be a vampire.

I almost didn’t reblog this because Illapa definitely has some gender and sexuality Baggage™ but then I remembered that this is a man who wears thigh-high boots and a waist corset? Okay, please imagine the Nightborne getting really into Horde culture.

Nightborne embracing Blood Elf customs, their attire and speech patterns. They get overly emotional looking at Silvermoon once they learn the stories.

Nightborne learning eagerly from the Tauren, how they hunt and make leather goods and such. Nightborne being absolutely fascinated by kodos and wanting ten of them

Nightborne getting excited to learn Orcish, despite how awkward the rough syllables sound in their accents. They love the spiky aesthetics, love the hairdos, and just how gruff the orcs are.

Nightborne going traveling with Pandaren, exploring and learning their culture and ideals. They get auper excited to eat their food too and want to learn to cook a mean meal like that.

Nightborne and Trolls getting along really well, surprisingly. They admire their tenacity, and end up adopting a lot of trollish jewelry. Raptors are their favorites too.

Imagine them dressing up in some of the races’ traditional clothes, them reading up on the history they’ve missed, them opening up shops for the other members and sharing their stories and knowledge as well. Nightborne getting hyped for the holidays they’ve never heard of, or going out to this “Darkmoon Faire” the commoners speak of. I want this so bad, I can’t stop thinking about it, please imagine it with me

my attention span is so bad i cant watch something without being on my phone at the same time i always have to have 2 layers of activity when did this happen why is capitalism stealing my soul away the spectacle has me firmly in its grip

Psychology time!

This isn’t having a short attention span (or well maybe thats part of it), but probably something called “Optimal Arousal.”(This is psychology, not anatomy, please keep your mind out of the gutter Xp)

Optimal Arousal goes like this: When effort is low, more stimulus is better. When effort is high, less stimulus is better.

I’ll elaborate. Whenever you do something easy (like maybe some homework as an example), unless something else is happening (like music or a show) you tend to get drawn away or doze off. In this homework scenario, the effort is low, so in order to keep at it and do well on working on it, you need a higher amount of stimulus, like a movie.

If something is hard, like for instance a test, you probably will try to avoid noise, going so far as to hush others so you can concentrate. The effort is high so you want less stimulus.

Keep this in mind. It can help you focus, and make life a lot easier. Dont feel bad for doing lots of different things while you are just chillin. Enjoy the knowledge!

And if you ADHD the base level amount of arousal needed to stay on task is much higher. Which is why I can’t watch TV without knitting!
