to help with dysphoria around signing your birth name, develop an illegible signature

additional benefit: if your preferred name starts with the same letter, having an illegible enough signature means not having to learn to sign a completely different first name

When I renewed my DL the first time after picking my name, I signed with my new name. If anyone complains, I can show them its my signature. No one has ever cared.
